Dialogue document concerning a marriage agreement: A approaches (qabû) B and asks him to give his daughter, the unmarried woman (nārtu), fC into marriage with him. fB grants (šemû) the request and gives his daughter into marriage. B voluntarily (ina hūd libbišu) gives as a dowry (nudunnû), together with his daughter fC, 5 minas of white scrap silver (kaspu peṣû nuhhutu) as well as jewellery, pieces of furniture and various types of containers. At the sealing (kanāku) of the tablet (ṭuppu) are present 5 witnesses and the scribe.
