Fragmentary lease contract concerning plough oxen: A rents out for cultivation (ana errēšūti nadānu) 4 plough oxen (alpu ša epinni) to B1and B2. They guarantee for taking care (suddudu) and the guard (maṣṣartu) of the oxen. In case they do not work (epēšu) the land, they shall pay the same rate as their neighbours. For the period of 5 months the lessor will give 0;0.1.3 kor (9 l) of barley as a monthly ration (kurummatu) to the lessee B1. 2 witnesses and the scribe. Each party has taken a copy.
